Registration

1. Who can register?
2. Anyone who is an Indian citizen, residing in India, of 18 years or above as on April 29, 2023, and the citizen should be of sound health and mind can register for KBC. No person can participate on behalf of another person. Any Contestant who has made it more than once to the Audition round of the Show across all the Schedules of the Show or even once to the Hot Seat of any of the previous seasons of KBC Hindi will not be eligible to participate in the current season (season 15) of the Show.
3. When will the lines be open for registration?
4. Registration lines (SMS & App) are open from 21:00:00 hrs on April 29, 2023, when the first question goes on air, for all viewers. The schedule of on-air registration questions during this period will be as below:

2. You can register by answering the on-air question through an SMS and by answering the question on the App The operator wise registration details of the numbers for the short code for sending SMS with the answer options are listed below:

2. Subscribers of the below mentioned operators can send in their SMSs to 509093: Airtel, Jio, & Vodafone-Idea in select circles

All registration through SMSs need to be in the following format:

“KBC <space><OPTION(A/B/C/D)> <space><Age in completed years as on April 29, 2023> <space><Gender>”. e.g.: If the correct answer to the question aired is “A” according to you, you are 21 years and 10 months old and are a male; you are required to send “KBC A 21 M”.

2. Please follow the below mentioned steps for participating via the Sony Liv app:
3. Download the SonyLIV application from the application store. Please note, the application download is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details on data charges, please contact your service provider.

2. Enter your mobile number. Please note that we will be able to get in touch with you only if the mobile number you have shared is registered with the service provider in India.
3. Select your age from the options provided. Please note that only those Registrants will be considered for participation in the Show who have completed 18 years of age as on April 29, 2023.
4. Choose your gender.
5. Select your education.
6. Select your occupation.
7. Please select your area of residence as per the options provided (you should have documented proof for your address)
8. Please select your answer option (A/B/C/D) for the general knowledge-based question to complete the registration process.
9. Once you have submitted the answers to all the questions, you will get see a confirmation screen confirming the registration.
10. Can I send more than one SMS / register more than once from the Application?
11. Yes, there is no restriction on the number of SMSs sent or the number of registrations done through the SonyLIV App. However, only the first valid entry will be considered for each mobile number registered through each mode of entry for each ‘Call For Entry’ question.
12. When will I know the result of the registration?
13. If the answer provided by you was both valid and correct and you were shortlisted by the randomizer based on the pre-defined reservation criteria, you will receive a call from us in around ten (10) working days from the date of close of registration lines for that question.
14. How will I know the result of the registration?
15. If the answer provided by you was both valid and correct and you were shortlisted by the randomizer based on the pre-defined reservation criteria, we will get in touch with you on your registered number. Please answer the phone yourself.

Audition

1. Where and when will the auditions be conducted?
2. The ground auditions (GK Test + Personal interviews) will be held between May 31st, 2023 to June 12th, 2023 at selected audition venues. The audition venue, date and time will be communicated to the selected participants via a call back on the registered mobile number.

Please note that the dates are tentative and might change subsequently. Company has the right to alter/change the venue of the auditions at its sole discretion.

1. Can I choose my preferred date, time and venue for audition?
2. No. The venue, date and time for registration of Auditionees will be intimated and cannot be changed or modified to suit Auditionee’s requirements. A city chosen by Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited (CMEPL) will be offered to all shortlisted Registrants. If the shortlisted Registrant chooses to decline the same, he renounces further participation in Kaun Banega Crorepati – Season 15.
3. What if I am unable to make it for the auditions?
4. Inability to attend the auditions on the specified date and time will close and/or terminate further participation in KBC.

1. What will I be required to do at the auditions?
2. a) Each auditionee will be made to go through a time bound GK test in which you will be required to answer skill based questions. All auditionees will have to complete the GK test in order to be eligible to be shortlisted to the second round of the auditions. Basis the scores of the GK test, the top 250 Auditionees who have scored the highest in the GK test will be selected to appear for a Video Audition / Personal Interview which will be recorded. Please note that this is an indicative number and the actual number of Auditionees to be shortlisted for the Video Audition shall be communicated by the Company at the Audition venue. If the selected Auditionees fail to complete both the Written Test and Video Audition, then the Auditionee shall be disqualified from further participation.

Note: Travel, accommodation, and all other expenses in relation to the participation of the Auditionee, will be at the Auditionees’ own costs and only the Auditionee will be permitted to enter the Audition venue upon submission of valid identity and address proof documents and photographs.

1. How will I know the result of the audition round?
2. The Auditionees who are shortlisted on the basis of the audition round will get a call from Culver Max Entertainment through its producers informing them of selection in the Fastest Finger First round of the show.
3. Will I have to bear all expenses in order to be present for the audition round?
4. Yes, all expenses directly or indirectly connected with being present for the auditions (travel, conveyance, lodging, stay, meals, etc.) will be borne by the auditionee.
5. What documents will I require for the auditions?
6. Each auditionee will have to carry with them the following documents to the audition venue:

1) For valid name proof (any one of the following):

1. PAN Card along with Birth certificate
2. Passport
3. Voter ID
4. Driver’s License or
5. UID / Aadhar card

2) For Valid address proof (any one of the following):

1. Landline Phone / Electricity Bill
2. Passport
3. Voter ID
4. Driver’s License
5. Ration card or
6. UID / Aadhar card

3) For verification of the registered mobile number: 1. UID / Aadhar card

2. Recent copy of the phone bill used to register for the Show

The Auditionee will need to carry the original document and 2 attested photocopies of each document. All the above-mentioned documents must be in Hindi or English only.

(Submission of the aforesaid documents/photos of Video a Friend Candidates does not imply that the Auditionee has been selected for further participation.)

General

1. What are the selection criteria?
2. The main criteria for selection is your general knowledge and grasp over current affairs, which is evaluated across various stages. In addition, there is also a video audition and interview at the final stage where your personality and screen presence are also evaluated.

6. The detailed terms and conditions governing the game show will be available on www.sonyliv.com.
7. How many times can I participate?
8. Each registrant can be shortlisted only once for an audition in one schedule of registrations. However, there is no restriction on the number of times a viewer can participate through registration (SMS / App).
9. Who wins the Prize Money?
10. The person who gets on the hot seat and give the correct answers to the questions asked will win the prize money. The prize amount will be decided by the Company at its sole discretion and will be subject to tax as per government rules.
11. Some people claim that they can help get entry to KBC. Is it possible?
12. The only way to enter KBC is through participation in the registration process as described in the Terms and Conditions governing participation in KBC Season 15 (Please refer to our terms and conditions on www.sonyliv.com). There is no other way of participating in KBC. This entire process is transparent and monitored by an independent audit firm. Any person claiming that he/she can help get you on the show for a consideration is defrauding you. Please contact your local police and report this person.

There is no entry fee charged for participation in KBC. So, any person who claims that he/she is from Sony and that you have to pay an entry fee for the show is defrauding you. Please contact your local police and report this person.

1. I got a call/ message on WhatsApp that I have won a lottery from KBC. Is it possible?
2. The only way to win any prize monies from KBC is to enter the show via the registration process as described in the Terms and Conditions governing participation in KBC Season 15. There is no other way of winning monies from KBC. Any person claiming that you have won any lotteries or that you need to deposit any monies to claim the said lotteries is defrauding you. Please contact your local police and report this person.

There is no entry fee charged for participation in KBC. Also, KBC does not issue any lotteries. So, any person who claims that he/she is from Sony and that you have to pay an entry fee for the show or that you have won a lottery is defrauding you.

1. I got a call after answering the question asked on TV, but no one has called me after that. Have I been selected?
2. The call you received might have been because you were among the shortlisted registrants selected by the computer. However, this does not mean that you have been selected for the next round. We will be contacting the successful candidates who have made it to the next round.
3. I participated in the KBC PAG Marathon held on 30th December 2022. How do I know if I am selected for the next round?
4. If you are a part of the top 100 participants as per the leaderboard of the PAG Marathon, you will get a

call from our team. The team will share the details on the audition and further process to be followed. Please note that selection for further rounds of the Show entirely depends on your performance in the audition and the Company shall not be responsible and/or liable in any manner whatsoever in case you are unable to participate in the audition process due to failure in delivery of the confirmatory message/ call.
